Non- basmati rice comes in all kinds of different shapes and sizes. Thin and Long in appreance it is better accepted option than plain long grain rice. Some are long and slender, some are short and thick, some are like beads, and some may be round. Only some of the long slender rice is shaped like basmati rice and may have either the aroma or the elongation but not both. While being cost effective it regains all the nutritious properties of rice, hence is always in great demand from middle income groups across the globe.
